These look nice, but look like they may be slippery. I can't find a good pic on the site to see. It's always a balance with me of form and function. I want them to look nice, but I want protection and grip too

I wish Google had offered the silicone cases they had for the Pixel. I absolutely loved how soft but grippy they were. I'd have bought several colors of those in a heartbeat, if they had.

I have the last gen Peel. They offer very minimal support, they're super thin. Grip.. they're more grippy than the metal, but not by a whole lot. I think of it as more scratch protection than impact protection.

I have the Peel on my Pixel xl and it does offer more grip then naked but doesn't offer much protection from a drop. Because of the slippery feel of the naked Pixel I would never carry it that way but would instead use the Peel case. Only negative is the clear case I purchased around 6 months ago is a little scratched up, but better the case than my phone.

I ordered the Peel case and will buy a screen protector as well. I don't really drop my phones too often.

It will protect from scratches where it covers but that's about it.

Hmm.. it may work for me then. I have only dropped 1 phone in the past few phones which happens to be the one I am using (my S8+). Nothing major just a small drop. Otherwise I usually never drop them.

If this case can help me to see my Panda color then it would be worth it for me. I would like to get a screen protector as well.

It's not clear though. They are colored cases.

I'm getting this one to showoff the Panda colors. I've had them before and they are nice and thin clear cases.

Doh! I missed that they were colored lol. Sorry.. Just got back from a 3 day Disney trip so I am a little tired ^_^.

I may look into that case. I would really like to be able to see the Panda / Colored home button once I get my Pixel 2 XL.
