Pixel 2 any body switching over

Wow. Shocking results.

What a joke. AC has completely sold out. The Pixel 2 is inferior in every way to the Samsung 8 series phones. I don't even think the Pixel software experience is great. I had high hopes for the Pixel 2 XL but it is a complete failure. With the high cost I can't imagine why anyone would buy it at this point.

With the current problems and lack of certain features, I think the pixel 2 xl should be $100-200 less than it's current price.

Most people that say they like the pure Google experience don't really love the pure Google experience they still put nova launcher and other things on there phone to customize there phone to me to be like or to simulate what Samsung, LG, and HTC do with their overly of android

There is 1 thing I don't like about the Note 8. I'm a simple guy. But the Samsung/Google confusion...which account to log into, conflicting apps, 2 contact apps, 2 messages apps? Really bug me. Want to use Samsung pay...need to log into Samsung to use it. Instead of focusing on protecting myself from Google stuff, I have to add behind the scene Samsung syncs too?

I'm not sold on the Pixel 2 xl. I would be extremely hard to walk away from the Note. I will have had 2 weeks with the note before the Pixel gets here. My gut tells me that will be enough to stay on the Note. But the key things...wireless charging and SD card....just aren't that important to me. the earphone jack...get over it...I wager the next Samsung series will not have it...I'm all BT anyway. So the overall comparison, to me, is not as cut in stone as other posts. My son uses the Pixel. He does not have a computer or tablet at home. It powers everything he does with no issues. So the Pixel is a good powerful device. I will reserve judgement for 2 weeks.

i love it, you can actually speculate and comment about everyone who says they like the pure google experience

That's literally the only justification someone could give to actually purchase a Pixel. The camera is solid, but so is the Note 8's. Note actually dominates in every other aspect and, most importantly, doesn't have a terrible display like the Pixel.
