Android Central Question
I have two bluetooth pairings on my Pixel 2. One is my car, an Elantra, and the other is a bone conducting head set from Trekz.
I have learned that I can start to play my audio book before I enter the car And not wearing the headset, after several moments when I am in the car, I can select Media on the car radio and the book begins to play through the car speakers..
However, If I know I will be using the headset while in the car, and after I exit the car, I just pair the headset to the Bluetooth and listen to the book via the headset, while driving.
Here is the problem I had today. When I got into the car, with the earphone paired and playing, the pairing stopped. It is as if the Elantra even though the radio is turned off, overrode the earphone pairing. It took me better than 12 minutes to get the ear phone to play the book.
I have moved the pairing of the Trekz to be above the Elantra. No joy. Behaves the same way.
Now, I have no idea if the problem rests with the Elantra, the Trekz, or the Pixel 2
Any help will be greatly appreciated.
