Android Central Question

A couple days ago my Pixel 2 has been receiving the "@" character at the end of some text messages I receive, and also at the end of texts that I am sending, even though I am not using these characters in my texts, nor are the contacts that are sending me texts. I am using the stock messaging app.

See if there's an update at Play. I just checked my texts (on a P2) and there's no @ on any of them. If you're up to date, I'd call Google support and see if they can help.

If you boot into Safe mode does the problem persist? It's possible that some 3rd party application is causing this.
If that doesn't make any difference I'd contact your carrier rather than Google; sounds much more like a carrier issue than a Google issue.
