Pixel 2 XL – Manual setting of the Brightness of the image

As often I take images of Dawn and Sunset/Dusk (as I used to own LG G4, I also have been trying to capture Moon in the night or morning sky, but they have been VERY unsuccessful... :'(), I’d like to lower the brightness of the image by tapping the image to bring up the Brightness adjustment on the right side…
But I also want to take series of photos to CREATE a panorama photo manually (Bimostitch app) as I can’t select the brightness of the images on stock camera’s panorama setting, and I don’t want to edit each photo after I take them, but just stitch right away…

So, my question is:
Is there a way to KEEP the brightness as I set manually while I take series of photos with the Pixel 2 XL Stock Camera? *Including any update recently (or upcoming) happened?

I hope I explained my dilemma, so you could understand...

I use the Moment Pro camera app. It will lock the exposure you set it to.

UPDATE:
Now, I found it that I can LOCK the exposure! YES!!!
