I received a promo from the Google Store offering me a 20% discount on any Pixel 2/Pixel 2 XL purchase. The offer ends 02/28/2018. I currently use a Pixel XL that Google sent me as a warranty replacement for a Nexus 6P with a bad battery. The Pixel 2 XL is a year old now. Is it still worth buying today? TIA

I'm having the exact same debate in the exact same situation. I'm very happy with my pixel XL and I'm trying to decide if there is enough of a reason to jump to the pixel 2. I'm tempted but haven't made the jump yet

"pixel 2xl is not a year old. it just came out in September!"

I thought it came out earlier. Thanks for the correction. Still thinking about it. Might give my Pixel XL to my brother if I take the plunge.

Similar to/after Himashu, would also be interested in a code/codes for anyone who doesn't need and/or won't use. I'm about to make a jump for the household, replacing three Samsungs with three Pixel 2 phones.

Verizon has a major promo for President's day that you should check out

I wonder if these codes are tied to the person's email address? I tried the baby Pixel 2 and didn't like it. I have been thinking about the 2 XL to try next, but now that I heard about this offer, I just sit and wait to see if one shows up in my email before I buy.

I decided not to replace my six month old "free" Pixel XL, but my nephew's wife needs to replace her defective Nexus 6P. She purchased it from Newegg so she couldn't get a Google replacement. She wants the Pixel 2 and l will use my 20% discount to acquire it. At least it doesn't go to waste.

I just decided to take the plunge since my wife's 6p just bootlooped 2 weekends ago and I am afraid mine is next.

I am still not happy at spending that much money on a phone but after I sell my 6p on eBay, I hope that helps my peace of mind.

I was waiting for a deal on the unlocked (we are happy with Sprint, not switching to Verizon) and I settled on this one versus stalking eBay listings.

I did think I saw they were out of stock though, now? I had one saved in my cart since last week and it let me put the order through.

The codes are not tied to an email. However, once you try to checkout the code is then tied to the email address that tried to checkout using it.
