Pixel 2 XL battery life Crazy good...12 hour days still 60+%

Im not a crazy facebook social medial phone addicted person so if thats you this review wont apply. I actually talk on my phone and use it for texts, emailing, camera, and auto syncing 4 email accounts. I also browse the web , check news apps, and look at instagram once or twice...

I have been running the 2 XL from 630 am till 630pm or later without checking the battery level. It wasnt a conscience choice, ive just caught myself not looking at it until sometime after I get home..

Im checking after 12-14 hour usage typically, with a minimum of 10 hours and im always over 60% battery life remaining...

Pretty pleased, think I could get 2 full days if i managed it somewhat

My first full day with it and, 11hrs and 30 minutes since being unplugged, I'm at 53% (47% used) with 2 and 1/2 hours of SoT + about 2 hrs of music via Poweramp and wired earbuds.

I usually plug in at 30-35% and average 16-17 hours off charger with about 4.5 SOT. been real impressed so far.

i als ostream bluetooth music in my car and use bluetooth in the car for the phone

The last two charges I've been doing really good and have lasted 2 days each with 5-6 hrs of screen time.

My last charge was about 46 hours ago and I went from 95% to 8% with a little more than 5 hour of on screen time. I look at the battery life every time(as well as closing apps manusally) I check the phone, and its a bit obsessively. lol Logging into my wifi at work saved my battery life the other day helped quite a bit I'm sure..

I'm trying to not let my batteries ever top or lose charge completely, to save as much battery life as possible down the road. I also have about 25% brightness screen with adaptive brightness and try to have a dark screen. I turned off ambient display and most of the gestures off and usually keep my volume to vibrate.
