Me and my partner have each just purchased a Pixel 2 XL. My partner is having difficulty adding his fingerprints to both of the phones. Whichever finger he uses, it won't recognise and says that enrolment has failed and to try a different finger. Out of his eight fingers and two thumbs, only his middle finger on his right hand will work. This is on both of the phones. When I try to add my fingers, they all pretty much work. It is really disappointing as it would seem that the fingerprint sensor just isn't working for my partner. This happened with software version 8.0 and is still happening now we have updated to 8.1. Any advice?
