At almost 7 months using the Pixel 2 XL as a daily and no issues to date.

I didn't have buyer's remorse, but a friend offered to purchase my Pixel 2 XL for cost + $200 cash. He got my Pixel 2 XL, the Geek Squad protection plan, and the screen protector. I'm using an iPhone X as a backup, but I'll sell it and get the Pixel 2 XL again. This time, I'll get the Stormtrooper version instead of the black version.

Not sure, the penguin has a little orange beak (power button), while I'm pretty sure the orange on the stormtrooper is a shoulder pad from this guy:

My guess is Ret possibly bought it for cheaper via a promo at Best Buy and that promo price + $200 is possibly less than the $950+tax, blah blah Google has it for.

No kidding. I doubt the geek squad + screen protector is north of $200 and even if it was, I'd rather have it brand new.

I bailed. I had returned my Galaxy S8+ because the Pixel 2 XL caught my eye. However, for my semi-arthritic hand it was just too much real estate to hold comfortably - - back to the Galaxy S8+.

A good phone - - just not good for me.

That's why I got the Pixel2 over the Pixel2 XL. After a rocky start I enjoy the Pixel 2.

Returned my original 2 XL preorder (which I only got on 5th December after waiting AGES), but only because they were selling the same phone for £100 ($140) less over Christmas with the same Google Mini incentive.

Set the returns process rolling on Christmas Eve and bought a new one at the offer price, which arrived on the 27th December.

Didn't really want to return the one I had, but with a price difference like that, I couldn't NOT do that!


And yes, I did contact Google to see if they'd just refund the difference, seeming as the offer went up three weeks after receiving my phone, but nope.
