Pixel 2 XL to Galaxy S10/10+. Anyone taking the plunge?

You're still under warranty but that probably means they would swap it for a refurb.

EDIT 2: Now that i have read an article about it i do in fact clearly remember reading they did this because of the "Screen issue" everyone was complaining about the first couple months. lol. How quickly we forget.

Yeah....it was difficult for me to get rid of mine for the 3XL. I had to pay for the Google warranty on the 3 but it also covers damage.

Have the 128g panda 2XL for over a year. First Google phone.
Don't see myself going back to Samsung. Had a Note 3 for 3 years:
no security patches for 30 months.
1 operating system upgrade.
That is total lack of support.

The 3 XL is not enough of a upgrade to make me switch.
Can happily wait for the 4XL.

I got the Note 3 new in January of 2014.

I actually still have the Note, and still miss the S-pen.

OP here. These are all great reasons to keep the Pixel and I loved the phone as well but the BT issues drove me nuts. Since i have had the S10+ for a week now I have had zero BT issues with my Kenwood car stereo and my Gear S2 watch. It actually automatically paired with the Kenwood and connects every time. For me that is the justification I needed to switch. Other than that the phone sucks....just kidding. I know alot if people are trashing the FPS on the S10 but I have had no issues with it, works just as good as the Pixel 2. Screen is great and battery life is superb. We'll see how I feel about the delays in updates in due time.

No way! I loved the S2-4 but the bloat got to be too much. Pixel or Motorola for me. Plus I really like the natural colors on the P2XL. I'm going to try to hold out for the P5. Or at least wait til the 4 comes out then drops in price or has a Fi deal if they ever do that again.

Ditto! May not be able to wait for the 5XL though...
