I might have missed it but when and why did Google raise the price on the Pixel 2XL to $1398? Usually, when a product is close to the end of it's life cycle, it's discounted, not increased....

Are you in Singapore? Maybe you are on a VPN showing you as there so Google displayed that?

No price change in the Google UK Store either. Prices start at £629, it says.

Treat yourself to an iPhone SE before they disappear for all eternity. Even the 128gb model costs no more than about sixpence in the UK....£349, to be precise.

Well something is causing Google to put you in Singapore (hence the /sg/ on the URL within your link versus mine).
