Pixel 3 camera APK file

Has anyone installed the Pixel 3 APK on their Pixel 2. I've been giving it a try and find it interesting and confusing.

Yep been using it for a few days now. I really like it. The photos are excellent and I installed the playground pack and figure apks as well

Top is selfie, middle is portrait and bottom is using playgrounds.

Like the brindle cat. I haven't learned up upload photos yet. I like the new zoom although I it doesn't do "high res". I like the scrolling through portrait, camera, panorama, etc. instead of a menu. I've been impressed with the Pixel 2 camera and am looking forward to seeing the pIxel 3 in January.

It installs over your current camera app. If you search for playgrounds you can get the AR stuff as well. You find it in the more... Menu in the camera app once you install the playgrounds apk and the apks for the ar packs

What about the wide angle front camera on the Pixel 3? Won’t the Pixel 3 Camera crash on the Pixel 2 because of the different hardware if you take a selfie?

Nope, used it all weekend and everything worked great. Front/back cameras and all features that will work on the P2xl!

Me too. It's CRAZY good. This one does not install over your camera app though...it has its own icon in the launcher that you have to use for now.

Only Issue I have with the P3 camera app and Night Sight is that the camera app crashes after I take the pic...the pic comes out amazing, but I have to open the camera app again to take the next pic.

Yeah, the app is a bit buggy right now. It has frozen on me a few times and doesn't always save the pic. However, when it does...WOW. The difference really is almost like night and day for some shots. And for all we know, the final, official release may be even better.

Impressive. But I'm not sure I'd use that mode much. I prefer my photos to look "true to life." If I took a pic at night I want to be able to tell it was taken at night 10 years from now. This feature literally turns night into day.

Downloaded it. No issues so far but the photos are awesome. Took some selfies this morning and they are the best I have done. Annoyed they are on sideways though.
