Brings all the incoming texts, emails, social media etc into one place. Brilliant.
That's pretty neat..

I did the same as you and went from BlackBerry to the Pixel 3. First thing I did was download all the Blackberry apps apart from the Launcher. I could never do without the BlackBerry Hub to bring everything together in one place, works perfectly. Found the BB keyboard and downloaded that too, could never manage without that either. I do miss the red notification light which all BlackBerries had and saved opening the phone to check.

Ah, that was the best part of Blackberry, the customizable notifications. I had my Bold give me different color blinks for different people's emails. The people who design phones today we're ex iPhone users. They know nothing of customizable options that we had so many years ago.
Was it easy to download the keyboard?
I also really miss the blinking light.

The LED is definitely one thing I miss too! I hadn't realized Google eliminated it on the Pixel 3. The Pixel 2 had it, and I don't recall a single review noting it had been eliminated on the 3.
There was a whole thread on it for pixel 3. I miss it but AOD kinda filled that void for me.
So true. And even now, my 2XL that has the led will only show the last notification, whereas the BlackBerry used to cycle through the colours/notifications.
That's why I liked the LED though. More private, just as informative, and no need to sap battery for the screen all the time. I have AOD turned off, personally I can't stand it.

Admittedly the Pixel 2 LED was so faint it was almost useless. But I was still disappointed when I discovered (only after buying it) they had completely eliminated the LED from the Pixel 3.

When you got more than one text from a "colour contact," your phone was like a rainbow!
It was on here as far as I remember. Works perfectly for me :
