Pixel 3 XL notifications from google maps in different language than settings

[Android Central Question]

I have a new Pixel 3 XL, I have imported my default settings from my old phone and everything is great but, I receive my notifications (at least for google maps) in another language that doesn't match my currently selected settings.

I checked both, my phone in settings/ system/ language & input

and also my google account in account preferences/ language & input tools

I would like to change those notifications to match my phone, the current configuration it's annoying me.

Sounds to me like something from your imported setup is causing the conflict.
I'd start from scratch and perform a Factory Reset and setup as New.

Kind of sucks that importing would make a glitch like that, assuming that is the case
