Pixel 3 XL won't play music in car bluetooth

I have a Kia Optima 2017 and a Pixel 3 XL. It's been working fine till 2 days ago. The phone connects to the radio and the music plays on Google Play, but no audio comes out. I've tried unpairing the phone, went into the car radio and deleted the saved phone. Restarted the phone, turned off and on the phone. The music app shows the music playing, but nothing comes out the speaker. I've tried bluetooth speakers and the music comes out fine. I've tried radio stations and the car speakers do work. A phone call works through the bluetooth, I can play the audio through the speakers. It's specifically the music parts. I also went into settings and made sure the car has access to phone, media, and contacts in the phone's bluetooth settings.

I had an issue with bluetooth in my car when I first got my 3XL. Someone recommended going into developer options and backing the bluetooth version down one. That worked for me. Though it's not the current version, it's the version that works for my car.
