Android Central Question

Hello all. I have a question about the Pixel 1 device. I'm upgrading from a Nexus 5 to a Pixel 32gb. I found a few on eBay and Amazon for $179, but having a really hard time understanding which is what. I am on Project Fi service which uses Sprint, TMobile, and US Cellular. Both CDMA and GSM networks. I thought that all "unlocked" Pixels support all bands and frequencies. The eBay listings say unlocked but NOT for sprint or not for Verizon.

Do i need this rare "google edition" Pixel in order to take full advantage of the Project Fi network? How come an unlocked pixel doesn't support sprint? Maybe someone can explain this to me further in depth. Thank you so much.

This might help. https://www.techwalls.com/google-pixel-pixel-xl-model-number-differences/

What's the actual model number?

This could be a case where it's the international model.
