I just ordered a Pixel 3 XL from Best Buy. I read my installment agreement. Best Buy made a $400 down payment. It's instant.

It's for shipping only, however.

Does the 14 day return policy start when you receive the device or when you order it? I want the order the Clearly White but there isn't even a date on when you would receive it yet.

Should be after delivery. My phone doesn't arrive for 2-3 weeks.

Also says 2-3 days shipping.

I'd have to be at Best Buy when they open.
Ask them.
They also say use your Best Buy charge card and get 6 months or more interest free.

Know I went in Best Buy and bought a Samsung tablet over the internet with the help of that Dept.
Had it shipped to a friend , just as I would of done from home.

Looks like the Black Friday people may be getting as excited as the rest of us was on Oct 10th when we bought the Pixel 3XL phones.

You may not get the color you want as fast.
Does it really matter what color it is if you get a deal.
Think the sales say it starts thanksgiving day and Black friday..

Ordered an XL in white with 64GB. Google lowered their trade in offers for the Pixel 2 XL so I'll just sell it on Swappa. I also picked up two Pixel stands for $60 on the Google shopping site. They offered a 20% off first time credit in top of the almost 50% off of the stands.

Just a heads up, I went to BB at opening (5PM today) to see if I could get a white 64 GB non-XL, since it was sold out online. The person I worked with said they only had black ones (YMMV on your store, but she pulled up inventory in the entire district and none had white) but that the $400 off promo is valid. I went through all the steps with getting the phone until the employee realized that the system was only taking $200 off. She asked a few others and apparently they've already been getting that same question by other employees in the BB internal chat. After a short while, another employee came by and said that they'd be taking $200 off and the other $200 will be in the form of bill credits. The person helping me said their internal memo doesn't say it that way, that it also said $400 off but the other guy said that's not the case. Regardless, it didn't matter because the system was only taking $200 off anyway. Bottom line, just order it online before they all go out of stock. Maybe they'll update the in-store system to reflect the immediate $400 off some time later but I'm not taking any chances.

I was able to grab the 64GB Pixel 3 XL from Best Buy for $499. Jesus, I don't think I will ever buy another Android phone on release date ever again. From now on I'm going to be patient and wait until Black Friday.
