Pixel 4/4 XL Cases. What did you get?

I ordered a Rhinoshield Crashguard today ...used them before on iPhone and Pixel 2 so wanted to change it up at times ...and another skin for down the road ..

Here is the Nomad rugged leather case. Looks and feels good

Does it feel bulky with this case?
No it doesn't add that much bulk or weight. It also has raised lips so nice protection to screen if you lay it screen down. It's a little slippery since it's new but will get grippy as the leather ages. The buttons are little stiff is my only complaint as of now, hopefully gets better.

Lovin the Rhinoshield crashguard .. nice feel and they fixed my complaint from previous one on Pixel 2 and iPhone ... It feels less slippery feels a little more grippy... Power button a little stiff but okay and volume sides are good less stiffness ....

Love that setup. Is that a skin on the back?

Got the totallee thin case in frost white it feels like there is no case at all. Quite happy with it. No protection though.

I wanted a slim but protective enough case with a nice look that can blend in my mood. had issues with each case so I bought one after another.

My favorite is the catalyst hopefully it ends there, followed by tech21 for its slimness.

these are my findings with each case:

google fabric case black and sorta smoky: both are really slippery. a little wide and thin. sorta smoky dirts easily. i don't feel safe with this case
speck presidio grip: nice grip, thick, wide and a bit heavy but solid. buttons are clicky
speck presidio pro: simple. slippery on dry hands. thick and wide (would prefer presidio grip). buttons are mushy.
spigen ultra hybrid matte sides: thinner compared to speck, the back is grippy but the sides are slippery. buttons are clicky. didn't like how my p4xl looks on it
spigen liquid air: i still find it a little thick but is very slippery especially on cold temps. it is not really thick by any means. buttons are also clicky
esr mimic: it is also a bit wide for me. grippy. had a lot of scratches. buttons are easy to press. i don't feel the case is for me.
silicone jacket: thin. buttons are stiff. attracts lint too much every time i pull my phone from the pants side pocket
moment photo case: i bought this just to use my wide lens. case is thick, heavy and wide. grip is enough and won't slip. buttons are nice and clicky. bulky in pocket
tech21 studio colour black: the thinnest for me. buttons are stiff my remedy to this is to put a small amount of tissue underneath the power and volume buttons
so now it's clicky. texture is nice grip is fine depending on temperature. a little bit slippery on cold temps but manageable. I thought it would be my favorite of the bunch coz of how thin and simple it is. doesn't feel bulky in the pocket.

catalyst impact: would like to spend a few more days if it would win me. had a lot of hype with this but had lower expectations because of how wide
it looks on the phone. i thought was gonna lean towards studio colour more and my endgame. but this one caught me by surprise.
it's not that bulky for me (moment case was bulkier). obviously it is wide but maybe a mm less wide than moment case. case is thin enough and the back is grippy like the spigen UH. the sides are solid fits tightly on the phone. the power button is clicky BUT volume buttons are mushy so i did put again some tissue beneath the volume buttons to make it clicky.
i find myself looking back to the catalyst case everytime i use the studio colour despite it being a few mm taller wider and thicker. the phone looks the simplest on the tech21 and liquid air. there is some amount of presence in pocket but slides in and out easily. i must say i like how the side bumpers look on the phone's screen and how it feels in hand. the build is of high quality.

hope this helps.

I really wanted an orange Pixel XL, but needed a phone NOW. Rather than take the time to track down the right color, I took the black model that was in stock (not as boring as I'd feared but still), and went for an orange case. There are a bunch of nice ones out there, but I'm giddy with this one: "GVIEWIN Nature Series for Google Pixel 4XL Case 2019, Ultra Slim Thin Glossy Soft TPU Rubber Gel Marble Phone Case Cover", a description that's actually pretty accurate.

It's quite striking in real life, and feels terrific. I also discovered that its drop protection is just dandy, having dropped it twice in the first two weeks. Yikes! Hopefully not again any time soon, but I don't have any questions about protection to go with enjoying the look and feel.

I may yet wind up getting a couple of custom skins from dbrand, which other folks on this thread have recommended. Some super slick looking options there at nice prices for folks looking to build out their collections.

Take a pic if you can and post up...

My daughter bought me a gray Google Case. I think I'm set on cases for a while now. Spigen Rugged Armor, Spigen Liquid Air, Google black fabric and gray fabric. And my dbrand skin, with an orange skin on the way.
