Is it possible to dial back the resolution on the Pixel 4 to 1080p?

That might help the battery issues. I'm not sure personally I can really tell the difference between the quad HD and HD.

Pixel 4 is 1080p, you can't change resolution

Incorrect info. The pixel 4 comes with 1080p for the front camera, but the rear camera supports 4k @30fps. I believe they said the default is set to 1080p though but you can 100% record in 4k with the rear main camera.

I believe they are referring to the screen resolution in which case yes it is 1080 on the Pixel 4.

I doubt it. It sounds like there 90hz refresh rate is what people are concerned about more than anything in regards to battery life...

Yeah, you can turn off the 90Hz, that will definitely help with battery.

According to reviews, without 90hz battery is similar to Pixel 3 or a bit less. With 90hz enabled it's worse for sure

Yes, sorry for not being clearer.

The screen - can we adjust the resolution downwards?
Nope. Pixel is not a Samsung lol. Samsung gives you an option to scale back resolution on Note 10, S10 and believe the Note 9 and S9 as well.

Pixel, not so much.
