Oh my goodness! I've never heard of that bug before. What an interesting discovery!
An interesting find? My wife didn't think so. She found it while looking through the flowers. She let out a scream and jumped three feet backwards. Me being the concerned husband took a look at the critter and exclaimed "COOL! I need to get my phone and take some pictures."

LOOL that would be me and my husband, but with frogs! I find it interesting because I wasn't there to see it up close!

Here's a couple of quick shots of a Hummer at our feeders right after I put out fresh nectar. There are around 8 or 9 that come round all day and dusk. They are amazing to watch and hard to get in focus.

Well the bittersweet time has come. The Ruby Throated hummers have all migrated down south and to Mexico, and the feeders are cleaned and ready for Spring. That's the bitter.
The sweet is when they return I'll have the P6 Pro with its (hopefully) amazing telescopic/zoom camera I hope will be able to take equally amazing hummer-in-action photos.
Spring can't arrive soon enough.

It really can't. I am happy to avoid turning 48 in December and moving straight to nicer weather in March. Well it is the UK. So we ever get nice weather?

Probably like the weather in our Pacific Northwest. I lived in Portland, Oregon for several years and hated it. It rains everyday in the Fall and Winter. The weather people even report "Sun Breaks". Let's you know how rare it is to see the Sun during that rainy season. Ugh!

This picture was taken by my wife with her Pixel 4a. She was helping a friend with landscaping when they spotted this nest and wondered if there were chicks in it. So my wife climbed the tree and sure enough. We think these are baby Robins.
