As the title says I'm contemplating getting the Pixel 6. Currently using the 4a5g which I love. Meets all my needs.
I looking for an adult in the room to talk me out of buying another phone that I don't need and thus being yelled at by the wife. Any takers?

You said it yourself the pixel 4a5g meets your needs by doing everything you need so look the other way and walk away.

I'd say unless you want a nicer looking phone, nicer display and better performance then do it if you're happy with what you have which you said you were maybe just save your $.

I'm using the pixel 6 pro and absolutely love it.

I also had the 4a 5G. In completing the port of all of our lines from Sprint over to T-Mobile, I found that I was going to have to pay an extra $45 per month. T-Mobile was offering either the 6 or 6 Pro for free, with credits over 24 months. I felt it was too good a deal to pass up, to get the extra years of updates. My only regret is going with the 6, instead of the 6 Pro. But overall I'm very happy with my choice.

I also came from 4a 5G loved that phone. Have to say the Pixel 6 Pro is a massive upgrade but what I miss the most is the small form factor and flat screen. Hoping the 6A comes out. If you dont care about the high specs then I would stay.

I'm not sure I would have been crazy about the curved glass along the edges, either.

I came from the 4a 5G to 6 Pro. Serious upgrade but the 4a 5G has twice the battery longevity. If you value 2 day battery life then stick with the cheaper phone.

Google is offering $275 for trade. At that price the P6 is a no brainer over the 4a 5g IMO
