Well, misery loves company.

, My saga continues. I have now tried a hard reset and did not backup from my Pixel 5, as I figured it may be one of my apps or cached data. Unfortunately, it is still (seemingly) randomly rebooting for no apparent reason. It reboots so quickly that I can't tell if it is the Pixel launcher crashing or a full reboot. When it happens, I do have to re-enter my pin as though it rebooted but I can't recall of you need to re-enter the pin when the launcher crashes. I wish there was a log report to tell me what is going on.
I began to wonder if the cheap case I have on it is somehow pressing the power and volume buttons, but that would prompt me to pick an option, not just reboot. I am stumped.
If it is a hardware issue, which I hope it is not, I guess I will send back within the return window.
If it has to go back, I may just return it and use my Pixel 5 or go to the dark side and try the Fold3 for when I want to carry a larger device. I have had every Nexus and Pixel except for the Pixel 4 and love pure Android, but not not sure I love the 6 Pro enough to wait weeks/months for a replacement.
