Pixel 6 Pro stopped working or discoonected

I had my Pixel connected to my laptop to transfer photos to the laptop.

I disconnected about a week ago but keep getting that messag or close. I have never gotten a similar message on my desktop. Both win10 computers It is just annoying. I generally get them two at a time. I can close the warning but it comes back.

By the way, there is not usb disconnect or unmount or similar option

I will try that. I plugged it in again. That's why I know there's no "safely remove" device or eject in the usual usb process.
