I didn't see any music app anyone have a favorite one that they are currently using that doesn't have ads?

I don't use anything other than YouTube music and Apple music.. I do have Spotify as well but that one I hardly use..

I use YouTube music which is included with my YouTube premium subscription.

I've been using Pandora for sooo many years. I've got a dozen custom, curated channels. I was a DJ for decades, and it's become like programming my own shows. I have YT music, and it's pretty good. Just takes a long time to get a service to really understand what you like in different genres.

As a Verizon customer, I get Apple Music. I have an Amazon Prime membership, so I get Amazon Music. And occasionally, I'll use YouTube Music.

Groove Music, lol
Songza was my favorite until Google bought it and merged it into Google Play Music.
These days, I listen to Live365, SiriusXM app, and Amazon Music Unlimited.

I've used nothing but Poweramp for 15 or so years. It's quite impressive and even still gets regular updates by the developers. Works fantastic on my P6P. I got the paid version after trying out the free version for a few hours way back then. One of the first apps I install on any new phone.

I've used a variety of music apps over the years and never quite settled on one or the other. They all migrated to the 6 Pro recently but since I'm not traveling much and Summer is months away, I've not really played with any of them on this new phone.

I, for one, was pretty upset when Google Play Music was ditched bc YT Music is garbage. Does anyone know of an app that doesn't require me to plug in my phone to transfer songs from my PC? Preferably one that auto plays when connected to my car's Bluetooth and can handle playlists of large sizes

Has anyone got issues when connecting the pixel 6 pro to their car Bluetooth. The car struggles to keep connected and doesn't update the track info on the infotainment fast enough. The music is running on the phone but the car doesn't play it or change tracks quick enough?

Hopefully the update fixes Bluetooth issues.

I use mine every day and so far the only issue I've had is it's dropped and reconnected once or twice. The music info does take about 7-8 seconds to show on the head unit but it was the same way with my Pixel 2XL so I fault the head unit for that.

I use YouTube Music (paid subscription) and Spotify (paid subscription) for streaming. For local music I use Poweramp (paid).

Same here, paid Poweramp works amazing.. Highly customisable
