I know the Pixel 6 (not Pro) only has a normal and wide-angle lens. No optical zoom. If I recall correctly they do use some techniques to get a little bit better when you do use digital zoom - I've read they use the optical stabilizer to move the lens to get super -rez zoom.
Is this at all effective on the 6? If I zoom to 2X do I effectively get a 3Mp image or is it better than that?
