Are you on a Verizon Pixel or a Google store Pixel? I am on a Verizon Pixel and just checked for an update and it's not there.

it no longer make sense to ask for carrier to look for pattern of update
google and Verizon version get update at the same time.
please make sure u r on wifi and connected to charger when checking for update. It wont push(at least during the initial rollout phase) update to u if u r not on any of it.
I checked for update but didnt show up but when i connected it to my computer and it started charging(I was already on wifi) it said i have update when i clicked check for update.

I did just connect to my charger which is a wall charger and I am on wifi and still nothing. I'm not in a real hurry for it as I know they are usually random and within a couple of days on different devices in different areas.
Was just curious as there have still been doubts on if the Verizon version will get updates as fast as the google version.

That's not accurate. I've never been on a charger to get any update on any phone I've ever had and I almost always get them the first or second day. It's been about 50/50 for me being on wifi to get updates overall, but I'm almost always on wifi now so I don't know if that's needed or not.

I thought that if you were a beta tester then you have to wipe the phone to switch to final versions

That's only if you unregister from the beta program. We're supposed to get the final version once it comes out of beta. I thought that being part of the beta we would get the update first....

Inaccurate. I was neither plugged in (60% charged) nor on WiFi (on LTE), and it came through just fine.
Those things are just superstitions... like believing that wearing a baseball cap inside-out and backwards will create opportunity for a come-from-behind-win.

Changelog there for those interested. I've gotten updates right away on Mondays every month this phone has been out but I'm left waiting it seems this time
