Pixel 8 cases thread.

Yeah, I saw those and got the similar one without the camera door and sent it back because the loop was uncomfortable. Plus, I decided to do my "normal" mod and put my own loop on a case (see above, a couple posts).

Well dang, I ordered and received the new Bellroy case for my P8P but after getting my P8P at BB today, turns out my old P7P Bellroy case fits it perfectly

I also went with the Spigen Liquid Air Armor, I had one on my Pixel 6 Pro and it held up well for 2 years. I went with navy blue instead of black this time, but unless you're in very bright light it looks black.

What would you all recommend as either a screen protector or a case with a cover or built in screen protector?

I thought Otterbox had just case with a built in screen protector but didn't see it. My wife keeps ruining her phone screens (likely something in her purse). So, I want to take advantage of the Black Friday sale on Google and get her a P8, but need a way to protect it. Thanks!

I noticed in Canada as well that the official Pixel 8 cases are on sale for $29.99. Picked one up what steal. The quality is much better the the official Pixel 6 pro and 7 pro cases. Reminds me of the Spigen Thin Fit case

For the Canadians

I did buy one from Best Buy Canada too, the price is real good

Well, I finally found my perfect case since Incipio isn't going to make any for the P8P (the Grip was my favorite for my P6P).

This is the one!
Caseology Athlex Grippable Protective Case Compatible with Google Pixel 8 Pro case 5G [Military Grade Drop Tested](2023) - Active Black https://a.co/d/4GL673R

Wish it came in blue but for the grip it has on the sides and the unique style of it, it's "the one". I really like how the back is scalloped around the camera bump. No other case is made like that as far as I know. It looks rather elegant, IMO.

That's a nice looking comfortable case.. it would be nice if they added some additional colors especially for the price you can pick up a few..

Got the dbrand leather skin from Black Friday sale. Was able to get a good install and feels nice in the hand

Will try to get some good pics tomorrow in natural light

My concern is how well that stays stuck on the corners and sides

I do like it tho and did get one for my fold

I have never ventured down the skin path. I like so many that I see. I do primarily use a case to prevent scratches, but it is kinda nice to have a little protection in an accidental drop.
I agree ... I rarely drop my phone, but it's good to have protection/piece of mind should a drop happen. I love the idea of skins and have used them in the past, but with the rear camera protrusions on current devices I'm more afraid of camera scratches than drops. Most cases protect the camera bump.

Lately I have bought Crave cases, but no one ever mentions them.

Cheap, decent case, grippier than a glass phone, and plenty of protection for those who take care of their expensive things, and they fit well. The buttons are good too.

I’ve bought four so far.
