Pixel 8a will not Bluetooth connect to 2025 CRV

Pixel 8a used to connect by Bluetooth to 2025 Honda CRV. Some recent update has broken that. I have update the CRV software and the Pixel 8a, still no success.

Welcome to Android Central! Have you already made sure to forget the car in the phone's Bluetooth list, and also forget the phone in the car's Bluetooth list?

Welcome to Android Central forums. B. Diddy's advice is likely the answer but if it doesn't work for you the next steps would be to clear caches for the BT app and the phone's partition cache. It just depends on what updated where the cache might need cleared. If re-paring the phone to your auto doesn't solve the issue you can follow the steps below and test again.

Settings>Apps>above the list is a sort option, tap this and tick the option to Show System Apps and press OK>scroll to Bluetooth Agent>Storage>Clear cache/Clear Data. You can clear one or the other or both without any issues.

To clear the partition cache, turn the phone off>hold the volume up and power buttons until the Samsung splash screen appears>Release the power button and continue holding the volume button until fully booted>use the volume buttons to navigate and the power button to select and choose Wipe Partition Cache>when complete choose the option to reboot the phone and allow it to reboot normally.
