Question pixel 9 pro and desktop view

hi all! im new here and i just wanted to ask... With android 16, can i use a portable touchscreen monitor to run the desktop mode with my pixel 9 pro? will i be able to use the touchscreen input so i can use the monitor like a tablet?

i can image that i would have to have a portable monitor with an HDMI port.

Welcome to Android Central! FYI, Desktop Mode is still only in the Beta -- unclear when it will be officially released.

From what I can find on the web, it doesn't look like external touchscreens will be supported, but this could always change at some point.
