Pixel and Galaxy Pairing

I see some Samsung Knights in here!! Is anyone using their Pixel with a Watch 6 Classic or Watch 7 and/or Galaxy Buds 3 Pro? Is there a loss of any functionality?

The Pixel has to play nicely with my current toys. I saw a reviewer whose Watch and phone refused to pair. I need to know if that's a real issue or just an early adopter bug.

Using my Galaxy Watch 6 classic without issue. There are some compromises - like DND doesn't sync with the phone and certain features aren't available, like the EKG monitor (I think that's what it's called). But as far as texts, calls, controlling media playback, etc. I have no problems at all.

I ran my Watch 6 Classic 47mm with my Pixel Fold and it did all I needed it to do; and I'll be pairing my Galaxy Watch Ultra with my 9 Pro Fold when it lands etc

I am using a Galaxy Watch Ultra with my P9XL and have no issues. I get app notifications and calls. I haven't tried any health or fitness tracking though. But I get all the social media app notifications along with email and text messages.
For me so far it has worked great!

I went full pixel. Didn't use the watch but briefly had the buds2pro. Getting assistant to work was kind of a cludge and even then not everything would work unless paired with a Samsung device.

FYI paired my GWU with my Pixel Fold this morning and it's been seamless

Works as I need it to, does all I need it to and all the apps I want active on it work faultlessly

Thanks for your replies. I went ahead and ordered a Rose 9Pro that isn't scheduled to deliver until Oct 2-9.

I had no problems with the P8P for the short time I used it, but that 1 YT video gave me pause. In it, the P9 wouldn't pair with his Galaxy Watch. Not many are pairing them with non Pixel buds/watches so I depend on y'all to help me make these life altering decisions

I'm using my Galaxy Watch 4 and so far no issues. I only use my watch mainly for the time, texts and see who's calling.

On a Pixel 8, I noticed my DND settings don't sync. Also, I have a contact whose ringtone is silent, but my watch still vibrates. Not deal breakers by any means

Yeah, I wish Samsung wasn't so petty and allowed DND to sync with non Samsung phones. I mean I get saving some features/options for Samsung only phones, but DND syncing is pretty basic IMO.

Not sure about the ringtone issue as I keep my watch on vibrate at all times. But that sounds like a strange one ...
