Anyone using a pixel phone and a galaxy watch?

I'm using a P8P and an older Garmin watch right now. I'm considering a pixel watch but I am intrigued by the galaxy watch6 classic. Anyone here have experience pairing the pixel phone with a Samsung watch? How did it go? Any issues?

I have both the Pixel 2 and Galaxy 6 Classic. No issues paring either.

I'll be receiving a pixel watch 2. I would have liked to keep it. But I've a larger wrist and it's a little on the small size. I'd need 43mm for the case size.

P8P and Samsung Watch 5 combo works well. A little redundant with some apps having multiple versions, but that's life with any Samsung product.

So I have the Galaxy 6 Classic and the Pixel 2. This is the case I have for the Pixel 2, it helps with the petite look. I do like the style of the Pixel watch and I bet the next year will have a couple of size options. This is not the most stylish case, but it is surprisingly comfortable. I have found a couple of more stylish case/band combos but the bands were straight up leather, which are nice on occasion but the leather gets a bit nasty with sweating.

There is also the Spigen version, but to my tastes it has too much branding on it.

A couple more I am looking at, just not sure they will fit the newest watch, it says no. Although many say that and are compatible.

Galaxy Watch 6 Classic and P8P. Gave me headaches pairing but Best Buy figured it out for me. It's flawless now. Love it! Good to go!

Pixel 6 and SW 6. Also found a workaround so my BP and ECG syncs. Does what I need

P8P and Galaxy Watch 6 for a few months. No issues at all with pairing, notifications or health sync.

If something is missing by not having a Samsung phone, I am not missing it.
