Even though I'm on Verizon, I cringed when I heard that Google is partnering with them. I'm overall not impressed enough to pay $7-800 for it. It would've had to include micro SD for me to even consider it. Having all my pictures and videos on my phone locally is critical when editing them.

That may be true, but I know of plenty computers with screens that have less than 1440p resolutions. This would be a more accurate comparison.
