Pixel and Verizon Visual Voicemail?

Is it safe to assume that no Nexus phone will have working Verizon Visual Voicemail when used on Verizon Network?

Typically doesn't work on the official app, but you can turn that feature off on the line and use Google Voice and get transcripts, etc. It's not the same, but still works.

Pretty sure you will not get WiFi calling either.

Aside from those links, I have so far been able to enable wifi calling on Verizon on my Nexus 5X.

From what I remember as long as you have WiFi calling activated on your plan before you activate the nexus device it works.

I have working visual voice mail on my N6 on the Verizon network. Works fine. It worked stock marshmallow and Rooted running xTraSmooth rom.

I can get Google Voice to work with Verizon, but it sometimes seems like I don't get the voicemail notification immediately. I can't imagine going through that setup if I wasn't enthusiastic about it.
I thought other carriers have Google Play Store voicemail apps, so that's what Verizon should do.

I use YouMail. Had it for about 8 phones. Works great.

wifi calling is an opt-in feature which has to be completed on the device, along with adding an address in case of 911 calls.

so far no one has definitively answered whether or not google store pixels get wifi calling, HD calling, or even simultaneous voice+data. worst case we find out next week when some of our pixels arrive (i'll report back).
