Pixel Fold Pre order thread.

So I ordered my Fold last week of May, originally saw a June 28-July 7 delivery date....over the past few weeks it's been pushed back (July 7-13, July 18-27, and then Aug 2-10) but each time it always got bumped back down to June 28-July 7th after a day of it being extended.

Now, it's been bumped to Aug 2-10 for several days ....is anyone else seeing theirs this far out?

EDIT: As of Tuesday, it's actually been moved back now to Aug 9-17......

Omfg today it shows Aug 7 now , thats about 7 times it changed from the start . what a joke and I’m getting very disappointed in this process .

Well, my delivery (ha) is still the same as about an hour ago

Jul 6-13!

It has bounced but the initial date was the second week in August. But as August still comes after July.... We shall see.

Mine has gone back to what I think was the original dates...June 28th to June 29th. (Order date May 16th after cancelling my May 10th order). That is probably best case scenario for those of us on the East coast...Takes at least an extra day from CA..

This is Fedex tho and for me they suck. They give me a date for a delivery and 3 days after it doesn't arrive they notify me of a delay and they do not know when it will arrive. This happens every other delivery.

Maybe the original was 27th 28th? I have to go back and see if I posted it.

EDIT: Yeah, I have an email stating 27th to 28th.

Anyone else order theirs through Google Fi's website? Mine is still saying Aug 10-17 and it's been there for a few days now. Everyone else online I've heard from says theirs is MUCH earlier (especially if you pre-ordered in May), but not sure how many were purchased through the google store vs purchased through Fi.

I emailed Fi just to ask about the delay and they said, "Your delivery date is [date], thanks for asking! Oh by the way, your payment got cancelled by your bank".

I asked them to clarify since the payment hasn't even been charged since they device hadn't shipped and they just kept saying "your bank (american express) cancelled your payment". I called AMEX and they were like "no...we confirmed the payment, but it's not even been processed yet because your device hasn't shipped. They haven't actually charged us yet. We can't even cancel a payment in this stage"

I called Google Fi Support and spent 45 minutes with them on the phone while they "checked things" and then were like "everything is fine with your order, the delay is just due to inventory, thanks for checking!"

....I have no idea what all of that was about, but very curious if anyone else has experienced anything like this.

It sounds like a bot...I ask if they are human or not.

Mine is expected here the 27th now , I guess since I paid over night . But Im wondering when are they going to charge me ? Haven’t seen anything yet ..

Just got the same email. Pretty nice to see it moving even if it's just an update email.

My delivery date is still June 27th - 28th

Just by the email for now, I don't recall seeing the preparing for shipping order status on Google store for prior orders. It should directly change to shipped and you should get charged that time. If I have to guess, it'll ship on June 26th so few more days to go. Those who paid expedited shipping will get on 27th and those with free on 28th/29th.

"Your shipment is delayed, and has a new estimated delivery date of Delivers Jun 27 - Jun 28. Sorry for the inconvenience. You’ll get a confirmation once it ships."

And the status is delayed. But it always said the 27-28th haha so I'm not sure what to take away from it

Same here. My order page says delayed. It gives The option to check the order or cancel it. When you click that link it shows a page that says the order was "delayed" to be delivered on the 28th through the 29th of June. I'm wondering if that just means that the original delivery date of June 27th through June 28th is now the 28th through the 29th. Not a big deal I guess.
