I was thinking the same thing for the next year, now I'll see. A phone made by Google, mmm. For me the main reason is that I hate waiting for the updates, I have an january security patched lg now. Like really???

I currently have a Note 5 and want to update to another phone and I was hoping this would be it, but I'm just not sure.

The phone is solid in all fields (with the exception of being water-proof, but no biggie) but to me it just seems a little dull in the style compartment. I can imagine that Google didn't want to take a risk with this being the flagship for the Pixel line though.

I'm excited, and the phone is cool for some of the features, but I don't feel sold on it quite yet.

I will have a better idea once I get my hands on a it. Luckily I am a Verizon customer. I just hope that Verizon won't be putting all of their crap on the phone.
