So - considering my options now. Have used larger phones for the past couple of years now, but am seriously considering the switch back to something in the 5" or less range.

If you had your choice, what would you go with? The Pixel or Pixel XL?

128 GB Pixel XL (Black) ordered for me. I enjoy bigger phones :D.

I really like the XL and would love to buy one, but I have a wedding coming up. so maybe I will get one and sell my S7E in December or so.

I choose the 5 in pixel. I have the 6p now and it's a great phone, but after pulling out my old Nexus 5 to compare, the decision was made. Although even the pixel XL is slightly smaller than the 6p.

I had been debating the XL as it's not much bigger than my current 5X but then I picked up my old first gen Moto X again recently and remembered how much I loved having a one handed use phone. Plus I feel there is so much more competition at the 5.5" size that in some ways the XL is less special and unique to the regular Pixel. After all how many 5" screen flagship devices can you buy unlocked that aren't the same price or higher. The Honor 8 is the closest but its still at least a notch or two below the Pixel. At 5.5" you can get an Axon 7, OnePlus 3, and eventually ZenPhone 3.

Since I'm not that big into VR, Pixel would be my choice.

Google Pixels

So who else is excited about the new Google phones. I am stoked for them but they are a bit pricey.

5" Pixel, I believe. The Nexus 5 was such a perfect feel in the hand; I really miss it. My 6P is not only enormous, but it's heavy as...something quite heavy.
I want the 5" Pixel, but I was only concerned about its VR experience over its bigger brother's VR capabilities.

I'd definitely go with the XL. Despite the similar specs, I think the larger screen lends itself to more flexibility with watching videos, editing pictures, browsing the web, multitasking, and sharing things on your screen with people in person.

I currently use an HTC One M8 and I think its size is perfect. The regular Pixel (in 128GB, because of lack of MicroSD) will fit the bill for me.

What made you decide to do that? I have the Nexus 6p as well. I'm contemplating the reason since it's a minor upgrade. I feel like the pixel 2 would be something more to look forward to.

I'd go with the XL. 5.5" is a great screen size. Currently using a budget 5" screen phone because my G3 isn't reading SIM cards and I'm missing that extra half inch. The phone isn't actually that much easier to use being this much smaller.

If I end up getting one (undecided for now), it'll actually be a really tough choice! Right now I have an LG G3, which also has a 5.5" screen like the XL...but in the PhoneArena size comparison, it's a WAY bigger phone and the regular Pixel is comparable in overall size to my G3. I like the big screen, but not the big phone. Ugh.

And some people really don't seem to understand why a large bottom bezel is a problem...

I haven't decided yet... I loved my Nexus 5 but I love more my Nexus 6P.
I would love the Pixel XL if it were a lot lighter than de Nexus 6P, but I still prefer a bigger screen. I will decide until I have them both in my hands.
