I uploaded the file from Google Photos to Imgur, then copied and pasted the forum link (BBCode) into my reply.

The AC forum app and Tapatalk really compresses the crap out of photos. So uploading to Imagur or something similar makes for better looking pics on forums

Sometimes both. At work I use the Tapatalk app to post photos. But at home I upload to Imgur then share here on the forums.

hmmmm not really the mobile apps compress the hell out of the images. There is an imgur app but not sure it will do and better to be honest.

Not exactly accurate. Hitting the ellipsis (...) in the photos app doesn't prompt this option. Taking a photosphere, visiting recently taken photos, clicking the edit (pencil) button does. Were you getting it differently somehow on the pixel?

I did it with my phone, used Imgur site on Chrome. Then you simply copy and paste the BB Code link into your forum reply and the pic will show up. But yeah there is also some form of compression unless maybe you share the raw file from Google Photos or something.

The first is the Chinese Lantern Festival from xmas week in Columbus, Ohio. The second was on the Vegas strip during CES. The last is the parking garage in Short North, also in Columbus.

None of those photos have been altered in any way outside of a crop and straighten, love that Pixel XL camera.
