So I'm getting one, my question is if the phone is on it constantly charging is the bad for the battery?

That is exactly what I was wondering. I like the idea of the stand but I charge my phone in the morning when I get up and I always stop it between 93-97% so leaving it on a stand all night seems counter to what we have been told about keeping good battery life.

Does this behavior apply when wireless charging?

When the phone is fully charged the electronics in the battery tell your phone to stop sending electricity from the charger to the battery charging circuit. Power still comes in, it just doesn't work at recharging anything and goes back out to the wall socket (electricity travels in an unbroken loop to and from the power source). If your phone is still powered on the battery will discharge because it's being used. When it discharges to a certain point, charging starts again. This cycle repeats until you unplug it in the morning.

It is not too much different than leaving the regular wired charger plugged in... Both Wireless Charger and Wired methods auto shut off when device is fully charged, however, the wireless charger may produce more heat while charging. And heat is one of the worst enemy for these batteries.

Thanks for the responses... I think I'll still get it with my 50 dollar gift from Google and try it out.
