Pixel XL restock?

How should I get my Pixel XL,FASTEST! I have a Note 7, turn it in now at BB and get it preordered or wait till its in stock and then get it when it becomes available?
I got sick of waiting for Google's preorders to open for XL 128 so I ordered through Verizon. I didn't want to cause I wanted Google's warranty.
Not only was I trying to order one for me but I need to get one for my wife, since she had to give up her note 7... I doubt I would have been able to get both of them together, especially different colors, by the 20th through Google.
Hopefully reports are true that Verizon will work with Google to release updates at the same time. Also, I didn't want to risk not having support for HD Voice... I've heard so many conflicting reports on this.

Randomly was refreshing the order screen for ten mins this morning at breakfast and a silver 128gb popped up. Threw it in the cart and pre ordered. Had a black in there last night and by the time I went to pay got an error and it was gone from my cart.
I am looking forward to getting the Pixel, throwing caution to the wind and moving from my Note 5. Love my Note 5 but find this phone interesting

Bloatware was non-existent on initial bootup on Verizon demo model we got today. Can't say it won't add when activated on network but not a hint of anything. Not even the My Verizon app. I don't root my phones so having a locked boot loader does nothing for me.

Like someone else said, check the store regularly, especially morning and night. I was on the waitlist and subscribed, I had no email or notification but I checked the google store on Friday Oct 7 at night and it was able to preorder temporarily. My delivery date is nov 20 though.
Go onto Verizon's website. Your line with the Note 7 will be eligible for an upgrade, due to the recall. I'm gonna get a box either with or right after my Pixel arrives next week to send my Note 7 back to them in.
I say have a little faith and don't be scared of Verizon. That's what I did - 128gb quite black XL from Verizon.

I don't see a issue with the vzw stock at all. still expected delivery is OCT 20th for the black & silver colors of the XL.
I honestly don't think this phone is going to sell well idc what google does with the software & support. HTC made a ugly phone & it being vzw exclusive consumers won't dish out $900 for this phone only diehard google/android stock fans will.

a comment worthy of donning my tinfoil hat for the day! Kind of embarrassing to bring out a new phone with a single carrier that no one wants to get the phone through!!!
I wonder if telling Verizon that I will turn in my Note 7 just as soon as my 128gb Pixel XL comes in will somehow get me to the front of the line? Because I am going to hang on to my Note 7 until then.

Exploiting the fact that you still have your Note 7 in order to get a new phone probably won't get you "to the front of the line." But I've been wrong before.
Verizon seems to have received a good amount of stock, so you should be fine walking in to a Verizon store on release day.
I got lucky 2 days ago, you just gotta keep checking, people cancel orders all the time (pixel xl 128)
There may be different numbers of units reserved for different countries, Google being global and all that. I'm in Australia and ordered my Pixel XL (black, 128 GB) from store.google.com. There was no delay processing the order, it took me about 2 minutes to complete.
The phone will be sent from El Goog's regional warehouse in Singapore, same as my Nexus 5 was some two-and-a-half years ago, and estimated delivery date to me is 26-28th October, along with the comment "Processing 1-2 business days + Delivery Standard 3-5 business days". Which sorta doesn't quite add up to 10-12 days, now being 18th October, but I guess it's close. Maybe weekend days don't count.

Hope you're right! I did go ahead and pre-order from my (not really) Verizon store, in addition to joining the waiting list at the Google store. "Supposedly" Verizon will have one for me around 10/28; but if what I'm reading is right, 11/11 might be more like it...
If the Google store emails me first, I'll just cancel the Verizon order and get it from there... Either way, it looks like I'm not moving to the front of any lines... :-( seems you're right.
