Pixel XL sold out? Buy an iPhone 7 Plus

Well it has quick reply, but as you stated...to each his own...I've always found stock messaging app on ANY Android device to be fugly and I shouldn't have to install a 3rd party app to make it look better. But the messenger 2.0 app is very nice and very easy on the eyes.

Well that is where we differ. The whole "I shouldn't have to install a 3rd party app" is kind of the Apple way of thinking because .. Normally you can't install a 3rd party app so you're stuck with what you get. Android is built on 3rd party apps and usually devs do it A LOT better.

Where do you think Apple gets a lot of their "great ideas" from? Jailbroken iPhones. Tons of features were made via Jailbreak for years then Apple finally sees their ways and incorporates them. One of them was quick reply finally with iOS 10. I had it back on my iPhone 4 when I had it Jailbroken.

I've been using iPhones for quite a number of years. Quick reply has been around long before iOS 10. It's actually a better implementation than anything on Android. But I switched to Android because iOS 10 is more force touch oriented and I don't like it.

Not in the iteration like now. Where you can reply and see the whole conversation window while replying without having to go back to the messaging app... That is why they show it off on the iOS 10 page on the Apple site (see pic below).

Trust me I know as well. I have iDevices in my house due to the gf and I used an iPhone 6 Plus when they came out with the plus to try them :).

That's how I feel about I message. It's so plain and simple looking. Def not a fan...

I'm aware of what it looks like. I have a 6S right beside me on iOS 10. I prefer how it was on iOS 9, 8 and 7 better....get a text, your screen came on...slide to quick reply...send your reply and phone goes back to sleep. I personally liked that. Personal preference. I've jailbroken and rooted many phones in my day. I prefer it to work really well right out of the box.

Plain and simple is a good thing, just like the design of the Google iPhone...errrr, I mean Pixel.
If that was the case Apple wouldn't be adding so many android features widgets on lock screen, 3rd party keyboards, raise to wake, stickers in Imessage etc...

Every carrier is doing that though...
Well Verizon says that 50 percent of the phone must be paid off,. That's the only reason to consider an iPhone,. Here's the problem if they come out with an even better pixel next year slot of us will be paying out the Ying yang to upgrade early

Sell old.. Grab new. Selling old can make up for the difference in the same way the upgrade plan works. Just takes a little more work than the upgrade program but still fully viable.
