I thought I responded to this thread, but I think the site has been acting goofy for me...
I swapped my iPhone 7 to Google Pixel using my existing SIM card on Sprint using their online activation through my Sprint account. I did have an issue doing this through Chrome, so I switched over to Microsoft Edge, but after that it worked just fine.
Do you get a screen similar to the below pic?

If so, are you getting the error after you select "Check Code" or after you select "Continue" at the bottom of the screen?
How did you use your old SIM from the iPhone? I am trying to do that not but it will not let me use the ICCID from the SIM card since it's activated still on the iPhone.
Hmm, assuming the IMEI is not a typo, I would probably try a Sprint store first and if that still doesn't work, reach out to Google.Yes; I get the error when I click "Check Code".
There is a bubble option that says something like "use existing SIM". I didn't have to enter the number since the system already knows what it is. Its actually the same SIM I've used for my last couple of phones.

Today I purchased a Verizon pixel xl at best buy. They weren't smart enough to figure out how to activate on Sprint. I then went to the sprint store and they gave me a sim card and boom 10 mins later, my phone worked and is working. So it's a FACT, none of the phone whether tagged for Verizon or not, are locked and can truly be used for any carrier. Hope that helps.

I have spent 3 days trying to get this phone activated on Sprint. Purchased directly from Google store. Could not activate online with Sprint as it said IMEI was not good, called Sprint and they told me that the phone is not for the Sprint Network and got hung up on. Called Google and they told me Sprint was crazy and patched me back to Sprint who promptly hung up on me again after being on hold for 20 minutes. Tried online again and this time it took the IMEI and showed the Pixel but the SIM was no good. After reading some more i figured i needed a new SIM as the one i have is on my Nexus 6. so the next day i went to 3 Sprint stores, only 1 place had a universal card (also says that would work) and of course it didnt work. got back with Sprint on the phone and spent an hour with them and they assured me they were able to validate the IMEI along with the SIM finally BUT....last step was (as he said, unfortunately) that i had to go into a store so that they could press 1 button and it would all be done. in the meantime, they deactivated my N6 so i had no phone. also said they made an appointment for me at my sprint store. got there and there was never any appointment no one poke to anyone and after 2 hours, still no phone.
if anyone has any idea what to do next, PLEASE let me know.
I activated using the whole number. You need to use the IMEI # minus the last digit. The MEID(ESN) is the # you want to use.
MEID(ESN)= IMEI # minus the last digit.
When activating online there should have been an option below to use existing SIM. Also don't use chrome browser.I have spent 3 days trying to get this phone activated on Sprint. What Sim card did u use?ok, since my post, i used Safari instead of Chrome to activate online and it was all done in 2 minutes! all works now and the phone is great. if anyone is having a problem activating while on Chrome, switch to IE or Safari if you have a crapple device.
Thank you all for your suggestions and help! good luck.
Not on the pixel. I read every phone made was unlocked but Verizon version came with preloaded Verizon crap. Can someone confirm?
