I'm still using my old Nexus 5 and was thinking about my much needed upgrade. I was about to get the 32 GB Nexus 6P. Should I put in the extra cash and get the 32GB Pixel or Pixel XL? Do you Android Heads think it's worth it?

If you want there best of what Google offers, yes it is absolutely worth it.

If your budget doesn't allow it then the 6p is still a great phone.

I ordered the Pixel XL, and I've been second guessing myself for a couple days now. I wish it was waterproof, but it looks like a very good phone. Another $90 for a Lifeproof case and maybe this becomes interesting. I don't know. The 6P is the best phone I've ever had. But do I want to be part of Google's first run at the iPhone?

I would either get the 6P now for around $300+ or wait to like Dec-Jan and see if the Pixel has maybe dropped $50-100 bucks. If you have the $ and are not going to complain then get the Pixel XL now. IMO the Pixel XL will be a very good phone.

I would recommend you to buy the New Pixel but if you have an issue with the price, you could buy the Nexus 6P. It is still one of the best phones to get. Totally worth it and the Pixel deserves some cash too for all the new Awesome things it has brought to the table.

The 6P is a great device... but with Google taking an awkward stance on the Nexus devices going forward... if you want to have the "Nexus" type experience, go with the Pixel. My White Nexus 5 is still chugging along, but my friend had a Black 6P, and after using it and then trying my Nexus 5... I went with the 6P... although that was 6 months ago. My kid is using the nexus 5 now, and he loves it.

If you have the cash go Pixel. If the cash is just not there then the 6P is a nice option for the price.

I also am still rockin' my Nexus 5 and purchased the Pixel..

Good luck with whatever you decide. It's a great time to be in the market for a new phone as there are plenty of stellar options out there..

If you really like the whole Google experience and had enough of juice to buy the Pixel, then definitely I would recommend Pixel for you.

But if you prefer a cheaper and still powerful handset with Pre-Pixel Google experience, then 6P will be better choice then.

However with Google seem like gling to abandon the Nexus family, it probably you gonna take note that the whole future Google experience of Pixel and Nexus device will be different then.

I'm going to buy the nexus 6p, eve' if it's seems too big to me, because I can't give 759€ (>848$) for a phone, but I can't leave the pure android experience either...

I agree with others above, order a Pixel if the cost is not an issue. Try it, send it back if it's not for you and grab a 6P. I ordered a Pixel XL and have a 6P currently. If the Pixel doesn't live up to the cost, I will happily fall back to my 6P as it is a great device.

The 6P almost costs half the price of the pixel
And when you look at the spec sheet
The 6P gives a stiff competition to the pixel xl
Google assistance is the only big notable difference
Pixel is said to have a better camera too
But just saw the camera ratings for the 6P
It's got the best camera in the nexus series

Although I want the Pixel to succeed and I am sure that the second iteration of the phone will be better. I will skip this one. There are much better choices out there.
