Pixel XL vs V20- Help me decide!

Personally I like the pixel more, but I'm just biased towards Android stock software

I'm sorry but I need to see screenshots because that sounds like BS. One of best phones I ever had in regards to battery life was my Xperia Z3. I could get between 6-7 hours of SoT only with Stamina Mode enabled.

I feel like the V20 is a better package overall at a lower price. $830 vs $869. I don't find the Pixel offerings to be that impressive, but that's just me. I'd take removable battery and an SD card slot over a Google Assistant id hardly use anyway any day.

The Pixel is so close to the perfect smartphone for 2016. It's just missing a hifi dac and ois but I'm definitely waiting for the reviews for both to really decide if I should spend $880+

The Pixel doesn't have OIS. It has EIS that doesn't work when doing 4K video.

Google already gives unlimited high quality storage photo backup up to 16 MP... and it's a 12 MP camera so....

These are the 2 most anticipated phones of the year in my opinion (other then the S7 edge) and now I don't know which phone to get. The only thing I see the V20 has over the Pixel XL is the quad DAC, SD card slot, OIS and maybe a better camera the the pixel (we'll have to find out when reviews are out.) The Pixel XL on the other hand one ups the V20 by almost everything like the specs, battery capacity, AMOLED display, and Google Assistant. I really hope the Pixel XL comes with the hifi DAC found in HTC 10. If it has the hifi DAC I'm going to get one immediately. Help me decide guys!

You can always "test drive" each phone. Take one phone for a week or two (within the standard 14 day window), and then return that one and try out the other, and then decide which one you like better. It's really going to be up to you and which phone you believe will meet your needs.

If you prefer fast update and smoothness UI on your phone, well definitely Pixel would be better choice for you.

If you prefer more functionality, more customization/different UI and SD card memory slot, well well well, go for V20 then.

You're confused. Google gives free storage for full resolution images and video up to 15 Gigabytes. The Pixel camera is a 12 Megapixel camera. The two aren't related.

Same customization as any other Android phone

I don't see why you wouldn't be able to use the messaging app of your choice. Allo is like those third party apps, like WhatsApp or Line. If anything, you should just be able to disable it as if it was bloatware.
