Liking the phone so far aside from one problem. I can connect to WiFi at home but at work it requires a sign in page just like hotels to enter a password. When I connect and open the browser it doesn't direct me to the sign in page and continues to use my mobile data. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Apparently Google is aware of Wifi Problems with the pixel as they are releasing a small update today to address this. I can confirm there is an update coming as I got a small, 30mb update last night at midnight, which was likely this wifi fix. (PS. I'm on a verizon phone). Try manually checking your phone for a software update.

And this to confirm I'm not full of Sh** :)

is it normal that your work wifi directs you to a login page? or is this something you have only seen on the Pixel? When you connect to an access point that requires a sign on, it should say as much under the wifi settings. I believe you tap on that notification and that opens the browser to the sign in page. I may be wrong, its been a while since ive had to do a sign on like that.

I chatted with tech support. They rep had to refer me to advanced tech support. Still waiting on a response via email.

odd, I'm going out to lunch in a few, I know a spot I can go to that has a splash page for their wifi. I'll check it while im out.

Update came out this morning, says fixes wifi connectivity issues.
I think the wifi connectivity issues patch was to fix an issue with the phone staying connected to wifi. It was an issue one reviewer mentioned was a problem on his home wifi. The phone kept switching between his 2.5Ghz and 5 Ghz channels.

Sounds good, appreciate it
Just tested on an access point that required a sign on an I received a notification stating I had to tap to sign on, and that notification opened chrome to the sign on page to the prompt.

Is it possible that your works wifi configuration is causing the issue?

My note 7 and everyone else's phone here isn't having any issues. Waiting on a reply from Google support who is looking into it.

I downloaded an app called HelloGuestWifi. I put in my username and password in there, and it automatically connects me via the browser page login

Did they fix your issue? I am facing a similar problem. Recently I am in travel and my phone has difficulty maintaining connection with my hotel WiFi. It often does not connect, sometimes switches off wifi and even if it connects, cannot maintain connection. You will not realize and it will us your data plan. I am really frustrated with this. And I am in the latest patches (Mar 5, 2017)

BTW: the 2 a**holes posted above is trying to get Google search ranking for a useless page.
