Anyone have any skills in this area? Anyone want to try out a "prototype" for how a Q10 keyboard could maybe be used as a USB-C Ready PKB attachment for any Android Slab?
Here's the thread that has the details. Scroll past the generic PKB vs VKB posts that are in the thread.
Of course he lives in a world where you can take these parts to a shop and they'll do all the miniature soldering for free and then go to a library and print out a 3D case for free...
It is interesting what he has done... for the sake of doing something. But I'm not sure many would do this themselves, especially when they would likely sink $100 - $150 into it and have something that might not even be as functional as just using the VKB on their slab phone.
If you do electronics soldering and have a 3D printer on hand... and miss having a physical keyboard, give it a try.
According to Dakkaron, the generator is working, orders for the PCBs are open, he's going to help for a batch of 20 (read the details to understand what that all means), and PM him if interested first come first serve.
