I am planning to buy 10 inch tab with 3g/4g services. One of the model short listed is Samsung note 10.1. I am OK with 2012/2013 model, don't really need latest 2014 model. Assuming that with release of 2014 model, we should get better deals on older model. Any suggestions? Which web sites / store I should be looking for better deals?

All the usual suspects, Amazon, NewEgg, TigerDirect, etc. I've had the 2012 edition. Its a nice device but the display resolution does leave a bit to be desired. Have you seen one in person. It's resolution is close to that of the original iPad and iPad 2. After having used crisper-rez'd displays it was just too hard for me to get accustomed to. However, if that's not an issue for you there should some good prices on the the 2012 edition.

On amazon and best buy, I see only Wi-Fi versions. Don't see ones supporting 3g/4g. The price of Wi-Fi is around 449$.

Where can I get 3g / 4g models without any contact? I don't see them on amazon or best buy...

Best Buy now has in house Samsung representatives. You might try calling your local Best Buy, maybe he/she can help you find the version you're looking for. And BTW, I've seen great prices on refurbished Notes of all varieties for sale. Just be careful to deal with a reputable place. I've had very good experiences with Tiger Direct. If you see something on Amazon, just make sure who's selling it and responsible for returns in case there is an issue. Also I think in order to get one that operates on a network, you're going to need a plan with a provider..... but then again..... I think there are pay as you go data plans..... Hope someone can help you with more information on that!

The 2014 is out. Best Buy has it (at least in wifi) and the prices on the original model have not changed any. There is about $50 difference between the two models with the 2014 showing the increase. It is more of a matter of how long Samsung will supply the original or will they not be shipping it to retailers after inventory sells out. That is when there might be discounts on the original to clear out the inventory, but that could be a long time in the future.
