Random but just thinking on what apple is doing and looking at the article about which do u perfer as far as plastic glass or aluminum .... If Samsung came out this year and did a apple if they made a note 4 design phone but had a sanpdragon 835 and came out a month later with the note 8 the exact same way it is now which one would u buy

Note 4 is great but note 8 is just light years ahead, still have my note 4 and was going to keep it as a back-up with a custom rom but my mind has changed because of how good the note 8 are, Note 4 ROCK though

Yes sir I feel in love with Samsung after the note 4 lol I think I just miss having a removeable battery tbh lol

No way am I going back to a small 5.7" screen and large bezels like the Note 4.

Note8 all the way with glass and the largest screen available!

The Note 4 was my favorite Note design. I liked the aluminum sides and rubberized textured removable back cover, still had that premium feel. Front FPS is way better than awkward rear placement like the N8. Plus you get some bezels to hold the phone properly, and flat edges helps as well. Loved that flat glass, screen protectors were cheap and easy to install. Removal battery was great, who doesn't like to have backup batteries. Too bad Samsung pushed out a forced update that finally killed the Note 4. Note 8 is technically much more advanced however. They should re-release the Note 4 with slimmer design and sell it as a mid-ranger. Call it the Note A.

Agreed, except for the part of a forced update killing the Note 4. I still use mine on Wi-Fi, my sister and mother still use them as their daily phones and haven't come running to me with problems.

Give me the Note8 with it's current design but with the Note4 textured back cover anyway. :)

I am loving my Note8, but it would be even better with a textured back, but I do understand why they use glass.

You really think bezels are that bad ?

For me, yes. My last iPhone 7 Plus I had a otterbox for protection and that made that iPhone really big. The rubber and hard plastic protected it, but the cost was the size it added. I had a hard time fitting the whole thing in my shirt pocket. I could of used a thinner case but at the expense of protection against drops.

Going from that to the Note8 with the smaller bezels to begin with allowed me to get a rugged case to protect the Note8 and the overall size fit in side of the rubber area on the iPhone 7 Plus otterbox. With the rugged case on the Note8 can fit in my shirt pockets with ease.

A friend of mine has the Note 4 and it is really wide. I have now migrated to taller vs wider phones and perfer the taller aspect.

See I never really myned bezels and I never really liked bulky cases either I perfer not to have one but how there making phones now it's almost a must to have one now because of the glass and the tall aspect don't bother mer to much but I will say I like the form factor of wider phones because they fit in my hand better I think the note 8 is honestly to tall

Yes obviously glass is better and I’ve become accustomed to aluminium. However I never had a problem with Samsung’s plastic phones.
