play music on Plantronics 975

How can I listen to music on the Plantronics 975 BT?

For music a BT headset has to have the A2DP protocol, I don't believe the 975 has that.

Plantronics 975 is mono and has A2DP.
My droid 2 has version 2.2.20.A955

Are you sure? I don't see A2DP mentioned in the specs or in the user guide.

ugg. thanks pool_shark - that explains it. next time, I'll RTFM. So any ideas other than returning the 975 or buying stereo bluetooth headphones? I really like the sound quality on the 975 but would really like to hear the music too.

Just look up A2DP headset. I think Jabra had one but it is no longer being made.
I like my headphones for music, I have the Motorola SD9-HD headphones, they sound really nice.
