Is this a know bug in KitKat 4.4.4 or is it just my phone? I didn't use it at all during the day after I got off the bus and started class, and my battery was at 95% then I checked it at 2:20 in the afternoon and I saw this👉👉

Yup, given half a chance: Google Play services will screw you every time.

For starters: Go into "Settings -> Accounts -> your Google account" and turn off sync for every Google service you do not use.

Then turn off Google Now. My "G" was getting absolutely phenomenal runtime. Then I decided to give Google Now a try. After about a week, maybe less, the dreaded "Google Play services sucking the battery dry" problem hit. Turned off Google Now and my runtime has been back to phenomenal ever since.

You may have to reboot after turning off Google Now to get your runtime back.

I had this problem too. Turn off sync for G Fit and G+.
