Play store download wont progress

Whenever I download an app from play store using mobile data it gets stuck after some time(for example 40%) and it wont go any further.

It happens because if while downloading I turn off and on my internet connection or if I receive a call in between while the app is downloading, it would get stuck at that point even though I have regained my connection and all other apps are working fine. I did cleared cache but still it happens. I have to re download the app from begining.

I am clueless why is this happening! Guys please help me out..

Welcome to Android Central! Does this happen on both wi-fi and mobile data? Try going to Settings>Apps, select Google Play Store, tap Storage, and Clear Cache/Clear Data, then Force Stop. Do the same for Download Manager -- you probably have to tap Menu>Show System to see it. Now try again.
